This is our 2nd time using Webb (pesky storms). Ryan is professional, all numbers matched up after negotiations on items we fixed now v. later, roof and gutters are beautiful. Excellent price for upgrade option. One slight issue with a gutter, and gutter company was back morning of next business day. All work completed in timely matter. Very good cleanup effort. We are quite pleased. Price fits well with what we have heard from others.

Expert Attic venting in Oklahoma City, OK
Attic venting is one of the most overlooked parts of a roofing system in Oklahoma City. During a typical summer, attic temperatures can climb well past 140°F on a 100-degree afternoon. That trapped heat bakes shingles from below while the sun hits them from above. It also pushes heat down into living spaces, forcing air conditioners to work harder. Oklahoma's high summer humidity adds another layer of risk. Without proper airflow, moisture builds up against the roof deck, creating conditions for mold growth and wood deterioration. A balanced venting system moves air in through the soffits and out through exhaust points at the ridge, keeping heat and moisture from sitting against your roof structure. Webb Roofing & Construction405 assesses each home's current intake and exhaust airflow before recommending a solution. Our locally owned team serves Oklahoma City, Edmond, Yukon, Moore, Norman, Mustang, Nichols Hills, Piedmont, El Reno, Purcell, Chickasha, and Tuttle. Call us to schedule a consultation.

Attic venting FAQ
Common questions about attic venting in Oklahoma City, OK.
Common signs include unusually hot upstairs rooms in summer, shingles that are curling or cupping on a relatively young roof, and cooling bills that keep climbing without a clear reason. Oklahoma City's intense summer heat makes these symptoms appear faster than in milder climates.
Yes, a properly balanced venting system reduces the heat radiating from the attic into your living space, which lowers the load on your air conditioner during Oklahoma's hottest months. Homes in Edmond, Yukon, and across the metro area all face the same extreme summer heat load.
Yes, trapped heat bakes shingles from below while the sun heats them from above, accelerating granule loss and asphalt breakdown. Homeowners in Moore and Norman deal with the same high heat and humidity conditions that make proper venting critical.
No, a balanced venting system also moves moisture out of the attic during cooler months, which protects roof decking and framing from condensation damage. Oklahoma winters can trap humid interior air in the attic, leading to wood deterioration and mold if airflow is inadequate.
We evaluate your home's current intake at the soffits and exhaust at the ridge to check whether airflow is balanced for your attic's size and layout. We serve homeowners across Oklahoma City, Mustang, Piedmont, Chickasha, Purcell, Tuttle, and the surrounding area.
Yes, exhaust vents at the ridge do very little without adequate intake at the soffits to feed the airflow. Blocked or covered soffits are one of the most common venting problems we find on Oklahoma City homes.
